Upper Play Area at Concord Elementary

The project at Concord International Elementary School renovates three existing play areas with new equipment, play surfacing, and improved stormwater drainage. Students were surveyed to learn about their play equipment preferences, and play structures were chosen for each of the targeted age groups. Low-maintenance synthetic turf was installed as a fall surface and colorful context for play. Drainage infrastructure below was cleaned out and replaced to eliminate puddling.
