The 200th Street development proposes 86 mixed-income homes and a community room in 4 apartment buildings, all within a park-like landscape on a steeply-sloped site. A long, serpentine retaining wall through the site addresses grading changes and provides a large multi-use lawn in the center of the project. A cascading series of small play areas offers residents the opportunity for observed play. Wood pergolas provide family gathering areas in human-scale spaces. Curvilinear paths and ramps connect the different spaces of the project, making it as accessible as it possible can be.
