Pride Place on the busy Broadway in Capitol Hill provides much-needed affordable housing for LGBTQ+ seniors, as well as a new home to GenPride, a nonprofit that empowers the LGBTQ+ senior community to live with pride and dignity. The site components of the project include an accessible entry courtyard with a large bioretention planter under a preserved historic front façade, a social patio with garden planters and cheerful lighting, and an extensive array of green roof areas on three different building levels.
