Status On the Boards

The childcare facility at East African Community Services will provide services for 4 different age groups of children. The enclosed play space will include play structures for each group, but also offer a multi-use track, vertical play elements, a sand pit, garden planters, and a water trough to provide a wider palette of play and teaching options. Play turf in multiple colors will be used to suggest land and water surfaces, and quote the cultural context of the facility’s children, their families, and their community.
