University Temple Children’s School is pursuing a new play area outside of its historic University Heights building. The play area includes an after-hours event area for parents and donors, and sits next to the University Heights P-Patch garden. The project is filled with playful and functional features, including a living willow hide-away covering a “discovery” sand pit, a water sleuth and cistern fed with potable water, a web-shaped rope climber, a peek-a-boo wall, an arbor with musical instruments, and a map of the region.
